KE$HA: MY CRAZY
BEAUTIFUL LIFE
TV SERIES
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

What’s life like for one of the world’s biggest pop stars? I learned firsthand while shooting Season 2 of MTV’s Docu-Series “Kesha: My Crazy Beautiful Life”.
Over the course of four months, I was given full access to document Ke$ha’s life – We racked up thousands of miles as I joined her at the finale of her European tour and was embedded on her U.S. tour. We went shark diving in the Bahamas and bear tracking in Kodiak, Alaska. I spent time with her family in Nashville and worked closely with her brother Lagan to create eight episodes that aired on MTV in the Fall of 2013.
The season was 8 half-hour episodes - But you can get the one-minute compressed overview here...
Along the way, I also worked on Ke$ha's video for "Sleazy". On a frigid winter day - with a guerrilla crew and a couple DSLRs - we traveled to Willets Point in the Bronx and improvised all the footage of Kesha wreaking havoc and being a general badass in the junkyard.
