Every year, Car & Driver magazine holds a Lightning Lap competition to crown the fastest exotic car of them all. We were invited along to tell the story of the event and highlight the relationship between Car & Driver magazine and its official fuel partner, Shell. 

Best part? Our crew was given a brand new BMW M4 GTS - an ultra-rare $150K version of the M4 - to drive at insane speeds around the track. Got any doubt about the skills of my key grip? His rigging held firm on the BMW as it tore around Virginia International Raceway at over 140mph. Oh... And I had the priviledge of keeping pace as the driver of our badass Dodge Caravan R/T camera car.
